Chairs are available in many styles of design and fabric including leather, vinyl and waterproof.

Heat and massage options are available on certain chairs.

Ready Built Chairs

Ready built chairs are generally available on a next day basis from a number of recognized names within the industry such as Electric Mobility “Cosy”, Pride Mobility, Drive Medical “Restwell” and Days Healthcare.

These chairs are offered in a limited range of sizes, choice of coverings, actions and fabric but do represent good value for money.

Bespoke or Tailor Made Chairs

These chairs are exactly what we say, made just for you. We only work with companies who provide the highest standards of quality and workmanship.

These companies offer a vast range of styles. Chairs can be made with seat heights as low as 14” without compromising the chair action.

Recognized as leaders in their field, names such as A J Way, Repose Furniture and Rise and Recline will build you a chair in virtually any size, any fabric and action catering for users up to 70 stone in weight. (click on manufacturers’ name to go to their web site)

We will assess your specific needs and advise you of the best option for you. Lead times on bespoke chairs range from 7 working days to 6 weeks depending on demand and final specification.

A range of two and three seat settees are also available to complement your rise and recline chair.

Our Service to YOU

Once you have decided on your new chair, Shire Mobility will deliver it and set it up at no extra cost. Before leaving, we go through the operation of the chair to ensure that you know how all the functions work.

We will also take you old chair away if you have no other means of disposing of it. A small charge may apply.
